Very refined, the frames are made of 24-carat gold. The “heartbeat” signature of Lorenz Bäumer has been adapted to the branches and paved with 0.13-carat diamonds. The two creators have worked to fuse the Parisian sophistication and French know-how on two iconic models of Nathalie Blanc Paris. Timeless, this optical jewel is born of close collaboration between the jewelry workshops of the Place Vendôme and those of Jura, the cradle of eyewear excellence.

" I discovered Nathalie Blanc on the nose of a marvelous woman who dazzled me ... my wife! Her work immediately amazed me. When Nathalie offered to share my know-how I knew a great collaboration would come out of this project. This is how we decided to make women’s heartbeat with glasses that would combine diamonds and gold."

Nathalie Blanc Paris and Lorenz Bäumer Luxury French Eyeware Collaboration"I discovered Lorenz Bäumer years ago.  I was obsessed with his heartbeat iconic jewel ring. I am so sensitive to his work and his way of shaking up the strict codes of jewelry. He constantly dares and innovates in a passionate and feminine style. I am very proud of our 4 hands creations."

Lorenz Bäumer’s workshop is in charge of setting the 16 diamonds one by one on the piece, that will be welded to the elbow at a 1000 degrees temperature by our own Jura’s factories. This setting required 45 minutes of work by heartbeat. These are the first eyewear with 16 diamonds set by hand.

The unique frames require a year of work. Each element of the eyewear is welded to the frame and temples, including the ''heartbeat''. The eyewear’s 5 gold microns cladding is made by electrolysis (that is to say by the passing of an electrical current that permits the movement of ions of metal) in three successive 30 minutes baths, allowing thanks to their high quality to be hallmarked under the bridge. The “heartbeat” is placed on the temple and finishes on the elbow.

"I create all of my gradation colors, systematically in harmony with the frame’s color. These glasses that have a gradation emphasizing the gold and diamonds frame, also have anti-reflective glasses on the internal side. They are also available in optical."

“The two iconic models of my collection have been chosen for this collaboration, my Alexandra with its butterfly shape and my Suzanne with its round shape. On these two models, I designed a reversed bridge to beautify the shape of the nose and highlight the facial contours."

"I decided to pick four variants of gold: white gold, yellow gold, pink gold, and gold ruthenium. The fact we chose 24 carats gold permits us to preserve the brilliance of this jewelry through time. Each frame will be numbered and attributed to a client who will receive a personalized certificate of authenticity.”
